Yeah, I've been meaning to go back to them. I was thinking about updating the shipbuilder soon because it only takes a bit of research and I already have a concrete idea for it, but I just don't really have the time to go back and do another chapter for the winds series. Plus, it's been years since I've updated I think? I'd like to start that one over from scratch and fix some problems I had with the characters, but editing, writing and structuring a story that big takes way more time than I have at the moment. Btw, are you the guest who reviewed windless city earlier today?

Didn't expect to get a reply back, and thanks. 
But Yeah. I've been reading that thing for years, I try to keep relatively the same"name" when I review but hard to remember all the time.
I know life gets in the way of hobby's and etc.
Especially one like that.
I guess that's part of why I stopped writing too
But if my opinion means anything I believe it would be better received to leave the original (windless) as it is by and large. But there's only one chapter in the sequel you could go anywhere with continuing that, should you find inspiration, and no one would raise a stink pretty much.
*You could even write in logical character adjustments or something*
I say that from experience a guy tried that with a old epic he had posted, to put it simply, the audience got mad, he got mad, and there was much rage quitting on all sides. ._.
But he completely deleted the original version to rewrite.
And sorry, this is so long, wanted to address everything.
